To say this place is great would be an understatement. I don't typically write reviews but after my experiences here I felt I had to. First and foremost, the staff here are amazing, the way they speak to you makes you feel like someone who's lived there for years! George came and spoke to us and it was lovely hearing some stories from him and finding out he used to live for a short time in the same London Borough as me. All of the other staff were amazing and each time we came back they welcomed us like friends. Atmosphere is one thing but it has to be backed by good food right? Well that's covered too, the food is spectacular, from a nice starter through the main and then the dessert was great. To top it all off the views you're greeted to are amazing, watching the sun set here with a nice glass of wine was my favourite part of my holiday and I would recommend this place to anyone visiting.

Probably the only truly authentic Greek restaurant in Kavos! Russous offers a picturesque setting, traditional colors, and charming wooden tables and chairs that instantly make you feel welcome. We were lucky to meet the unique owner, George, who took the time to share the fascinating story of his family’s more than 100-year tradition at this very spot. Our waiter, also named George, convinced us to try the Greek salad, promising it was the best in Corfu—and he was absolutely right! The delicious dressing truly took it to another level. We also enjoyed the phenomenal tuna carpaccio, a flavorful tuna steak (slightly overcooked for our taste, but still tasty), delicious lentils, and a perfectly cooked sea bream with celeriac purée. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. If you’re looking for a romantic spot for dinner in Kavos, Russous is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Part of the soul of Corfu rests in this restaurant, that takes you back to a time where Kavos was an authentic fishing village. The food is absolutely exquisite, the wine as well - don’t hesitate to try a bottle of Pontiglio, a local winery. The owners are an adorable family, all passionate about Corfu cuisine. A must do, if you’re in Corfu and looking for a true Greek experience. Thank you again for an unforgettable evening. Tip: if you want a nice table with a view directly on the sea, it’s maybe better to make a reservation beforehand.

This place is amazing. A family owned place with enough character to bring people back again and again. The staff are so friendly and the food is just absolutely top notch. I've been to many different European countries over the years and this is by far one of the best I've ever been to. I would highly recommend booking a table, either go down in person during the day and book for a night you want. I booked for about 8 o clock and the view as the sun goes down and the lights go on is really something else. I had Fried Meatballs with sauce and no one should be able to cook food this good. The sauce is other worldly and the meatballs are crispy on the outside and meaty on the inside. I know that sounds ridiculous but honestly, try them you will not be disappointed. My wife had the shrimp and she says they are the best she's ever had, we've eaten out every night on our trip and she's amazed at how good they are, so good we're going back again. I can imagine everything on the menu is going to be an 11/10. The prices are very reasonable too. I think for a starter, main and a drink each it's been the best value for money on my trip.
